VOLUNTARY RECALL - WHOLESALER/RETAILER INFORMATION
Reason for Recall
The dry storage container in the bottom of the bottle contains a dot of finishing solder which may contain excess amounts of lead. This potentially poses an exposure risk to lead if unpackaged food is placed in the dry storage compartment.
What Bottles Are Affected?
All Bindle Bottle sizes and colors are affected, including bottles in Puppy Packs.
What You Should Do
1. You should immediately stop sale and quarantine any units in your inventory. You should also block sale of all applicable SKUs in your point-of-sale systems. If you find that you have units, please immediately contact Bindle Bottle at info@bindlebottle.com and we will make arrangements to return the units to us.
2. Complete and return the Recall Return Response Form that was emailed to you or fill out the form below as per the FDA’s requirements acknowledging receipt of our recall notice.
3. We are seeking your cooperation in facilitating the direct contact of all known purchasers. Working with the FDA, we intend to use our best efforts to contact all known purchasers.
4. If consumers contact your company, please advise them to immediately stop using the Bindle Bottle and contact us at www.bindlebottle.com/pages/recall or at product_safety@bindlebottle.com. Consumers will be provided a free repair kit sent to their home.
