Keeping You Hydrated & Healthy!

These are hard times for people all over the country and we want to do our part by helping in any way we possibly can. One of our driving factors as a brand is to keep our customers hydrated and healthy. We always have the hydration part covered… and now we’ve taken extra steps to keep you healthy by giving away a free hand sanitizer and a bandana with each bottle purchase. Some might ask… the use of hand sanitizer is obvious… but what is the bandana for? Stay tuned and follow these five easy steps to make your own DIY Face Mask out of a bandana:

Step 1: Wash Your Hands

Use your free 1oz Bindle Bottle hand sanitizer to clean your hands. For good measure, make sure to get the back of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails. If you don’t have hand sanitizer, you can follow the CDC’s recommendation of lathering your hands with soap and rubbing them together for at least 20 seconds before rinsing them with warm or cold water.

Step 2: Gather Your Supplies

The only supplies you’ll need for your DIY Face mask is a standard sized bandana such as your super stylish Bindle Bottle bandana as well as two hair ties. The hair ties could also be substituted for rubber bands or scrunchies if you want something softer for your ears.

Step 3: Fold Bandana

Lay a standard bandana out on a clean, flat surface and fold in half as pictured.

Then...

Fold this half into thirds by taking the edge nearest you and folding it in towards the middle.

Next...

Take the edge farthest from you and fold it over the piece you just finished folding. The result will be a long, tri-folded piece of material.

Step 4: Attach Hair Ties

Once your bandana is folded, take your two hair ties and attach them to each side of the bandana. This can be done by stretching each hair tie over the edges and placing them equidistant apart as pictured.

Step 5: Fold Over & Tuck

Once your hair ties are attached, fold each side of the bandana over so that both ends meet in the middle. For extra durability, tuck one of the edges into the opening of the other edge of the bandana to keep things secured in place.

BOOM!

You now have a DIY Face Mask to keep you safe, follow the CDC’s recommendation of wearing a face mask in public, and help stop the spread of COVID-19. The Bindle Bottle team thanks you for your support and hopes you’re happy, healthy, and well in these difficult times!
