It all started in the Spring of 2016 when Encinitas, CA local - Houston Max - began to notice a pattern in himself and his closest friends: they always had a water bottle in one hand and a bunch of items in the other. Tired of being weighed down by their daily essentials and having nowhere convenient to put them, Houston enlisted the help of his partners to find a solution. More than just a bottle: After many late nights, countless prototypes, and a successful Kickstarter campaign… the Bindle Bottle was born. Featuring a 2-in-1 design with a storage compartment, the days of awkward backpacks, cluttered purses, and cramming random sh*t in your back pocket were finally over. Now everything can be kept in one secure place. Making a positive impact on the environment was a driving factor as the team brought the brand to life. Growing up as a surfer, Houston always deeply cared about the ocean and keeping it clean and plastic-free. Over the past few years, we’ve been able to replace over 50,000 plastic water bottles with a Bindle Bottle. We’re always striving to do more and are constantly on the lookout for new ways to give back. We’ve recently partnered with Clean Hub and are committed to donating a portion of proceeds from every order to help remove a pound of plastic from our oceans.
