Sustainability Update

At Bindle Bottle, we know that reusable water bottles are far more than a handy – and admittedly stylish and innovative – daily accessory. By opting for daily water refills and eschewing single use plastics, people truly can make a difference in reducing the amount of plastic that ends up in the environment. Two years ago, Bindle partnered with CleanHub to remove tough-to-recycle plastic from the environment, with the ultimate goal of preventing it from entering a landfill or the ocean. By donating a small portion of proceeds from each order, Bindle helps fund CleanHub’s efforts to “intercept” these problematic plastics, enabling a proactive approach to better managing waste.

Bindle and CleanHub are aligned in their goal of cleaning up the ocean, and we both agree the best way to accomplish this is by keeping plastic out of it in the first place! Bindle’s contributions to CleanHub have resulted in the removal or prevention of over 2,700 lbs. of ocean-bound plastic year-to-date and the recovery of over 9,000 pounds of ocean-bound plastic since we launched our partnership.
